Rate Policy

1 - All rates include 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 17.  Each additional adult is $6.00 per day and, each child ages 5-17 are $3.00 per day.  Children under 5 are FREE.  

2 - Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability at a rate of $2.00 per hour.

3 - Sites will not be rented to anyone under the age of 21.  ID must be presented.

4 - Use of sanitary dump station is $10.00 per use for overnight guests and $20 per use for all others.

5 - Outlanders River Camp is a pet friendly facility.  First pet is FREE. Each additional pet is $2.00 per night per pet.

6 - Campground guests are permitted to have visitors from 9AM – 10PM. Visitor rates are $6 per adult or teen, $3 for 6-12 year olds, and 5 and under are FREE.  All visitors must register and pay assessed visitor fee at the Check-In Station.

7 - Rates do not include applicable lodging and sales tax.

Reservation Policy

In order to hold a reservation, a 50% deposit is required.  Reservations may not be made more than 365 days in advance of arrival date.

 
Cancellation Policy 

Canceled reservations are subject to a $10 handling fee if cancellation is at least 30 days prior to arrival.  Any cancellations less than 30 days in advance of arrival will forfeit 50% of deposit. Cancellations occurring less than 4 days from arrival will forfeit 100% of deposit.  All cancellation requests must contact ORC campground office at 540-743-5540.  Email cancellations are NOT accepted.

Refund Policy 

There will be absolutely no refunds of camp fees once paid under any circumstances including but not limited to adverse weather, injury, or early check-out.

Check In and Check Out Policy

Check in time is 2PM – 10PM on day of arrival. Check out time is 11AM on day of departure.  All campers, guests, and visitors must first register and pay usage fees at the campground office at time of arrival.

Liability Policy

Under no circumstances will Outlanders River Camp owners, family, employees, or contractors be liable for any injury or illness that may occur while using Outlanders River Camp facilities including swimming and wading in the river.  Enjoy our property, but use is at your own risk.   

Property Rules and Regulations

 1 - All animals must be on a leash at all times outside of RV.  Non-aggressive breed dogs only!  Aggressive breeds include: Akitas, Malamutes, Great Danes, Pit Bulls, Rottweiler, Dobermans, Huskies, Mastiffs, and Wolf hybrids.  All pet waste must be picked up and thrown away immediately.

2 - In order to respect the consideration of all of our guests, mandatory quiet time is from10PM to 7AM nightly.

3 – Discharging of fireworks (including sparklers) or firearms are not permitted on campground property.

4 – Virginia drug and alcohol regulations must be obeyed.  Public intoxication is not permitted under any circumstances.

5 – Federal law allows public use of the Shenandoah River however trespassing on neighboring properties is strictly forbidden.  Fishing license is required.

6 – Use of uninsured or unlicensed motor vehicles at ORC is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to golf carts, mini bikes, ATVs, gas scooters, electric scooters, or mopeds.  Exceptions can be made with prior approval in the event of medical reasons.

7 – All fire rings and grills must be attended at all times. Open air fires will not be allowed when fire risk is high.

8 - Campers and guests are not allowed to bring your own firewood.  All firewood must be purchased at the Check- In Station.
9 – Open fires including charcoal grills may not be left unattended at anytime.
10 -Feeding of wildlife is prohibited.  Campers must keep perishables in containers and put trash in the trash dumpster.
11 - Please do not disturb natural environment including damaging trees, shrubs, vegetation, or animal habitat.  No cutting of trees, limbs or vegetation on property.  Please do not remove downed limbs from trails or hilled areas.  These are to help to maintain land erosion.
12 - Violation of any rules by campers or guests will result in entire party’s removal from property with forfeit of all site fees.
